When Homer says, “Ooh! Lunch time!” on a Funtalking pen, you know it’s Homer and nobody else. That’s because we put Space Age audio technology in our pens to give you sound like nothing you’ve ever heard. But that’s not all – our pens feature your favorite movie and TV characters, thermal transfer photos which never peel off, and a cool shape you won’t find anywhere else. Plus the pen is a superb writing instrument!

Napoleon Dynamite Stars Speak Out!

I had the chance to chat recently with Napoleon Dynamite stars Efren Ramirez (Pedro) and Aaron Ruell (Kip) about life after Napoleon Dynamite. Efren is leading the sweeeeeet life, having appeared in more than a dozen movies and films since his Napoleon Dynamite breakout. Look for him this year in Moola and American Summer

Aaron said,  “Things are good. I was at Sundance with a movie I was in called 'On the Road with Judas,’ and I’m really busy with my day job which is directing commercials (biscuitfilmworks.com) and shooting print campaigns (aruell.com). A book of my photography will be out this summer,  published by Nazraeli press. I'm excited about that. That's pretty much my life in a nutshell."

As a personal note, both these guys are the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet.

Anybody curious about Co-star Jon Gries (Uncle Rico)? He has always favored lower budget independent films, and continues this trend with upcoming films The Comebacks, Elsewhere, and Around June , all scheduled for 2007 release.

The Buzz

Simpsons Movie promotion SURPRISE?- I’ve seen a special advance screening of the Simpsons Movie, due out in July, and IT’S GREAT! What I am not allowed to tell you about is the special role that Apu plays in the Fox Studio  promotions. Expect to see a major retail chain with 35,000 stores take part in a complete transformation. But I’ve already said too much… at least until the next Kamhi Report…

The TOP SECRET Shrek Babies! I just viewed HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL art work of the new Shrek triplets who will steal the movie in Shrek the Third (that’s right, even without help from modern science Shrek and Fiona managed triplets). I will post never-before-seen photos of these adorable babies in our next newsletter in May so stay tuned!

Hand-feed your fish, just like you do your gerbil or dog! I love discovering cool products and telling you about them (even though I don't make a dime). This new fish tank uses a vacuum that lets you put your hand in the side and feed the fish directly—the water stays inside, too. Click for Details

Send your ads to the subconscious. Cheap advertising, even in big markets! You marketing experts will remember the notorious ads slipped into movies in the 1950s: one frame that said “Buy Coke!” Nobody “saw” it, and people rushed the concession stands at intermission. It was so effective it was made illegal.

Soon you’ll be able to do the same on TV – legally. Buy one frame in a 15-second spot (more if you like), and implant your company on the consumer’s subconscious. Legal, effective, cheap - $39 a frame. It’s not available yet, but you’ll see the first frames go on the market at eBay. Does it work? It works....works...works...I obey....obey...obey.

Virtual stuffed animals  One of the most popular new toys for kids 7-12 is Webkinz. In a nutshell, it’s a stuffed toy that lets kids connect to a virtual world with their pet in it. The kids can’t get enough, and neither can stores. Seems it makes kids feel “grown up” to go on-line and interact with their dolls. Click for Details
